GLOBAL WARMING

What is Global Warming?

The continuous increase in temperature near the earth's surface is known as global warming. Over the past one or two centuries, this pattern has been observed. The earth's climate pattern has been upset by this shift. On the other hand, the concept of global warming is debatable, yet scientists have generated data that the earth's temperature is gradually rising.

It is caused by a variety of factors that have negative consequences for humans, plants, and animals. These factors could be natural or the result of human behaviour. In order to address the problem, it is important to first understand the adverse effects of global warming.

Causes of Global Warming

The major causes of global warming:

·         Man-made Causes of Global Warming

·         Deforestation

·         Use of Vehicles

·         Chlorofluorocarbon

·         Industrial Development

·         Agriculture

·         Overpopulation

Natural Causes of Global Warming

·         Volcanoes

·         Water Vapour

·         Melting Permafrost

·         Forest Blazes

Effects of Global Warming

These are the major effects of global warming:

·         Rise in Temperature

·         Threats to the Ecosystem

·         Climate Change

·         Spread of Diseases

·         High Mortality Rates

·         Loss of Natural Habitat
